The two days following Christmas are horrible, everyone's still happy and cheerful but they want to go shopping for sales (by the way, doesn't save you any money, you just spend less of it, and sometimes more anyway) and so everyone is out and there's traffic everywhere and people love to gripe for unlimited breadsticks. It's all a gimmick, don't you realize?

We took the bus, because I couldn't find anyone to lend me a car. She didn't seem to mind. We had conversation and there was someone wearing a very long knitted hat. I kind of wanted to set it on fire. I said as much, and I think she laughed.
We got to the restaurant and I had the most expensive plate of food I've ever seen. It was good, but not as good as breadsticks and soup. I don't really remember what I ate. We had more conversation. The waiter hated me, I could tell. He knows that I'm a waiter too, I've served him once or twice before. I smirked at him several times. It is likely his spit in my salad. I didn't eat much of it.
I did not have any snacks at the theater. I offered her my coat, I don't remember if she took it. She's actually very nice and friendly if I don't talk about moons, wolves or eating people. Though, I think she can tell when I'm actively trying to be funny now. Hopefully, otherwise a lot of my conversation would be weird.
Then we watched the movie and she conducted a search party for my tonsils with her tongue I walked her back to her dorm (after the bus ride home). It was a perfectly pleasant evening of punishment. It could have been worse, she could have made me carry her cheerio bag around.
Monetary Status: I'm really broke now, but I'll pick up extra shifts over the holidays and there are generally bigger parties that tip better, and those costs will be recouped.
Second Date Status: Unlikely, unless I mess up again. I sent her a birthday present (flowers and that button necklace I was working on when I came over on Saturday) because how could I not? Plus, it was easy. Thank you for the use of some of your tools.
